I found out a week ago that this image won Newcastle's "Emerging Artist Award" 
Very happy! It was a (very) last minute decision to enter it into the Photo Media section of the competition. I got a phone call on the Saturday night from the exhibition telling me that I'd won the Photography section AND the over all prize. I am so so grateful. Thank you
